In Deauville,
facing the sea, these apartments were designed for a family seeking an escape from the hustle and bustle of Paris for a weekend getaway.
On the same landing, directly opposite each other, are a duplex and a studio. They were conceived as a single cohesive project to create independent living spaces for different members of the same family.
Wood serves as the unifying element of this project. From the entrance, it covers the walls from floor to ceiling, conceals storage spaces, opens doors, and extends to the facades before transforming into furniture. Polished concrete, oak, and hemp cladding interact with more refined materials like marble and brushed stainless steel.
The spacious ground-floor living room faces the sea. Upstairs, the bedrooms share an adjoining bathroom. With its gentle curves and soft lines, the space welcomes visitors into a warm and inviting atmosphere.
The soft tones of this interior naturally extend the beach stretching out in front and reflect the calm serenity of the Normandy coast.
